CIGNA Medicare Services in AZ.are tied to the CIGNA Medical Group (CMG) for primary care and some specialty care.

We have over 200 pcp's and 4500 contracted specialists. The plan is available in Maricopa county and the City of Apache Junction. We have 25 health care centers throughout the valley and most have docs, pharmacy, lab, etc on site. Studies show Medicare beneficiaries will travel up to 10 miles to see a doc.

That puts about 80% of Maricopa county in our service area of acceptable driving distances. Our disenrollment rate is less than 2% to competitors annually which talks to our high service levels and member satisfaction. Additionally, all specialists within the CMG are board certified, and most CMG docs are also board certified in diabetes and CHF - two very important topics for the Medicare population.

Finally, the CMG is continuously recognized as top docs in Maricopa county and this year 10 of our PCP's were recognized among the top 200 docs in the entire US.
